Fantastic and wonderful hotel, we appreciated it.
Everything was really good, thoughtful staff, excellent location just next door to a business district, old Sears tower, and many sites, including the Art Institute and Millennium Park. Had a soundproof queen room, which allowed us to enjoy great view of the financial district.

Upon arrival, check-in was surprisingly slow, with only one person handling a long line. This made the wait drag on. The promised city view turned out to be an office building staring back, disappointing for a stay that highlighted city sights. Housekeeping missed cleaning crucial aspects of the room, specifically the toilet, leading to irritation despite multiple requests. Dining options fell short, particularly in-room meals that were less than appetizing, leaving a bit to be desired for a luxury brand. No turndown service was offered, which seemed like a miss on their part for such a tiered hotel.

I liked the room. Also thew concierge service was very good.
I did not like the fact that they have the aircondition in very low temperature. The morning during breakfast we could not sit pleasanly because of the cold, whether outside the temperature was high.

The hotel is in an excellent location. I especially enjoyed the beautiful room and the fantastic soaking tub. The staff at the front desk and bellhops were helpful. It was unfortunate that the pool was out of service during our visit, which disappointed the kids, but overall, it was a great experience.

For the price it was an excellent major city hotel. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed, the concierge staff was helpful with any questions. Food quality in the hotel was good, and the wait staff and any other staff we had contact with were all pleasant, friendly and helpful. The location was good for venues within the loop, like the Art Institute, Union Station, etc, but it also allowed easy access to other parts of the city. There were plenty of cabs outside and quickly available to take us wherever we wanted to go outside the area.
My only objection was the daily charge, about $15/day for wireless internet access. I find that objectionable in a good quality business hotel.
